2022年TINMF計畫於十月假十方樂集音樂劇場進行，除將舉辦兩場音樂會外，另將各作品錄製成影片，於線上播放、嘗試接觸更多國內外的愛樂者，並積極參與國際現代音樂協會 (International Society of Contemporary Music) 線上播映的Virtual Collaborative Series，促進臺灣作曲家與作品參與國際交流。兩場音樂會分別以中西合璧（東、西方樂器合奏之室內樂）及「臺灣當代獨奏作品集」（Taiwan Sequenza，獨奏樂器作品）為主題，呈現多首風格各異之作品。

3. Percussion plus

3b) Percussion (solo performer) with electronics. Percussion instruments as above. Electronics: Roland SPD-SX, Laptop with RME UFX interface, Ableton Live, Protools, Logic, Max, or other electronics if the composer supplies the necessary software/components. Ideally, the set-up will be relatively simple. Quad speaker arrangement is possible.
6c) String quartet with percussion (1 player: glockenspiel, vibraphone, pr. bongos, suspended cymbal, large tam-tam, kick drum, concert bass drum, triangle, woodblock, cowbell and auxiliary percussion or found objects that would fit on a trap table)
7. Small Ensembles
Works for all or some of the following instruments:
7a) harp, percussion and double bass
7b) Saxophone, trombone, piano and double bass
7c) Clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone and percussion(1)
7d) Flute/piccolo, oboe and violin
8. Medium Chamber Ensemble
Works for 3–8 players, instruments drawn from the following list: flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion(1), piano, violin, double bass
9. Youth Orchestra
5 - 7 minute works written for Youth Orchestra, players aged 14 - 24 years
12a) Electroacoustic music for fixed media, with up to 8 channels
12b) Works involving live electronics, with up to 8 channels
Speakers are normally positioned as an 8.1 system in a semi-circular array. There is also the possibility of some upper reinforcement from a trio of hanging speakers.
Single screen video is also possible in conjunction with the above.
Works of up to 20 minutes in duration may be considered in this category.
13. Composer-Performer
Open to composer-performers who work with an expanded approach to composition, artists engaged with the practice of researching and developing new compositional and performative tools which may work in an intersection of the physical, theatrical and visual. This may include performers exploring creation, composer-performer collectives, non-Western instruments, found/built instruments, electronics and extra-musical elements. Composer-Performers are required to bring all necessary materials for the performance, including their own computer with all software and additional hardware as well as all props and any other necessary materials.
Please submit an artist CV in English (up to 2 pages), .pdf description of the work (500 word max), a video of the composer-performer’s work, and a technical rider for the performance.
Works of up to 20 minutes in duration may be considered in this category.
14. Improvising Ensemble
Open to composers-improvisers who may wish to perform with local improvisers (violin, saxophones, percussion and/or keyboards). Composers are requested to send some demo material.
15. Audiovisual and Installation Works
For gallery/exhibition presentation (i.e. non-concert presentation). Some installations may be positioned in an outdoor environment. Preference will be given to works that bear some relationship to the theme of Music Ecosystems.
Please submit an artist CV in English (up to 2 pages), .pdf description of the work (500 word max), a list of equipment and installation materials, and online support material (2 examples of work). Short-listed applicants will be contacted for additional materials.
Works longer than 12 minutes will be considered in this category.
Information required for each Work to be submitted includes:
The composer’s personal and contact information: Given names; Family name; Name as it should appear in the programme; Date of birth; full Mailing address; Gender; Phone no.; email address; website (if applicable).
Work information: Title; Submission Category; Accurate duration; Year of composition; Statement of whether the work has been previously performed.
The score (.pdf document preferred), or audio/video documentation if the work does not have a written score - as described in the Work Categories.

Technical rider specifying all equipment necessary to perform the work.

2015 Taipei Intl' New Music Festival focuses on American contemporary music and musician, featuring the Ensemble-in-Residence Amernet String Quartet, who will perform two concerts. The Chai Found Music Workshop (CFMW) have held many composition competitions since 2009, focusing on different themes (i.e. "Five Elements", "Yin & Yang", "Mountains and Water" etc.) each year. However, for more open thoughts and inspirations, and for the promotions of new sizhu music's creation, there is no indicated "theme" for this year's competition. This competition consists of two stages of evaluations to provide communications and collaborations between musicians and composers. We encourage you whoever are interested in writing music to join this opportunity.
This competition is open to composers at any age, and from any country.
The submitted work has to be newly written and has not received a public performance or been awarded in another competition.
The first-prize winners of this competition for the past two years are not eligible to submit.

報名表：請填妥報名表 (附件一，請於上方線上報名項中下載報名表) 各欄位資料，並親筆簽名。每位參賽者可提交 1 至 2 件參賽作品。若提交 2 件作 品，需填 2 份報名表。 Signed Application Form. Each participant can submit 1 - 2 works. Two application forms are required if submitting two works.
報名費：請依所處地區自行選擇報名費幣別。 Registration Fee: 35 USD or 25 Euro. Attach a "cash envelope" into the score when mailing.
需繳交至少 3 分鐘之示範作品片段樂譜（含 5 份總譜及各樂器分譜各 1 份）並附電子檔光碟。如示範演出片段超過3分鐘或為已完成之作品，請先行標示約3分鐘之最能表現該作品主要創作理念片段。其中古箏分譜請加附「演奏位置譜」，範例如下: Submit the scores (including 5 whole scores and 1 part for each instrument) of at least 3 minutes of an example passage, and a disc with digital files. If the work is more than 3 minutes or already finished, please mark a 3-minute passage that represents the composer's thoughts the best. For the Zheng (Guzheng) part, please also provide a transposed (fingering) score. An example is available below. (Fingering, Sounding, Tuning)
A public reading will take place on Friday, September 11, 2015, at the Chai Found 101, performed by the CFMW musicians. During the reading, the composers will be able to communicate with the performers, present their compositional thoughts, and respond to the jury committee's related questions. If more than 12 submissions are received, the jury will review the scores and select 12 works for the public reading session.
Any revision during the reading is prohibited, unless in extreme situation (i.e. a written register is not possibly playable).
The jury will select works among the submissions for the second stage. The CFMW will announce the selected works on Monday, September 14, 2015 on the official website and Facebook.
Selected composers are required to turn in a complete, 6 - 8 minute work no later than Friday October 2, 2015. Late submission won't be considered for the final prize.
The selected works will be rehearsed during October 26 - 30, 2015, and then premiered on Saturday, October 31, 2015 in the Final Concert at Chai Found 101. The prizes will be given after the final concert.

獲獎之作品，采風樂坊擁有首演權、三年期間內之演出權及采風樂坊為其作品出版有聲資料之權利。未來有關該作品之任何演出、使用及出版行為，均須註明為本比賽之獲獎作品。並統一由采風樂坊處理以上所有相關業務授權，作曲家不得自行授權，並由采風樂坊收取樂曲使用版權費，該費用分配方式將由雙方另立合約。 For the awarded works, the CFMW has the rights of premiere, performances, and recording publications for the first three years. Any future performance, usage, or publication of the same work is required to add this competition's winning information. The composer should contact the CFMW for any business related contracts.

2015 臺北國際現代音樂節將以美國新音樂與音樂家為主，邀請由四位茱麗亞音樂院畢業、現為 Florida International University 駐校音樂團隊 (Ensemble-in-Residence)「亞美內絃樂四重奏」 (Amernet String Quartet) 前來擔任 2015 音樂節之駐節團隊，演出兩場絃樂四重奏音樂會、與一場大提琴與電子音樂互動之「二重奏」音樂會，並邀請 2015-16 Fulbright 基金會獎助客座交通大學音樂所的 Jacob Sudol 博士擔任音樂節受邀作曲家／電音工程師 (Invited Composer/Sound Engineer)。
